“ABC was the most important experience in my entire life.”
– Dr. Carnell Cooper, Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, trauma surgeon and creator of Baltimore youth rescue program, the Violence Intervention Program (VIP) at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center (Andover High School/ABC of Andover 1973)
A long list of ABC scholars have realized their dreams by winning financial aid to highly selective colleges after they graduated from Andover High School through the ABC of Andover program. Following college or professional school, they have advanced to leadership positions in many walks of life. They've included the president of a division of Mars, Inc., a Baltimore surgeon who was featured in People magazine, and an admissions officer at Vanderbilt University. If you are an alumni and would like to reconnect with the program or other alumni, friend us on Facebook or write to us at Alumni@AndoverABC.org.
