Hoppin' Holiday Open House!

Dozens of people enjoyed holiday cheer Sunday afternoon at an open house hosted by Andover A Better Chance. Past presidents, neighbors, long-time residents and interested newcomers to town, met the scholars, enjoyed refreshments and toured the house. The students were outstanding tour guides, showing off their clean rooms, study area, dining area -- even the mail-sorting cubby. Board members were on hand to answer visitors' questions about the nonprofit educational program. President Mary Pritchard commented, “The afternoon was very successful. Many new friends and returning faces had a chance to come and meet our scholars and see their home—a truly wonderful afternoon!”
