Andover High's Spotlight Chamber Choir had a full holiday season and as a member of the choir Abbi Awodele had a full schedule rehearsing and performing. Next up - a trip to New York City in March.
ABC Sophomore Abbi Awodele recently performed with Andover High’s “Spotlight” Chamber Choir at the annual Peace Concert. This concert takes place during the holidays to commemorate 9/11 victims and to promote peace during the holiday season.
The Chamber Choir also recently held a flash mob performance at the Burlington Mall, entertaining holiday shoppers with carols. In addition, the group sang the National Anthem at the Tsongas Arena for UMass Lowell’s hockey game against Boston College.
Currently, Abbi and her choir mates are rehearsing for their March trip to New York City for a national choir competition. Abbi was chosen for Andover High’s elite Chamber Choir last fall after several rounds of highly competitive auditions.
