Saturday evening more than 100 new and returning friends gathered for a wine & cheese sampling in support of A Better Chance of Andover. Our gracious hosts were Robin and Jim Buhrer, whose beautifully renovated home was once an ABC dormitory.
ABC’s students shared their stories with guests, and new friends had a chance to learn more from board members and others about ABC and the thousands of volunteer hours given in support of the program. We rely on events such as this stunning evening to raise the funds to support the house and the myriad of enrichment opportunities the students experience throughout the year.
Guests mingled indoors and out, previewing the season’s most intriguing wines recommended by Andover Liquors, sampling cheeses and appetizers artfully presented by Two Chefs Are Better Than One Catering and connecting with new neighbors and old friends.
Thank you all who were able to join us in our celebration. We hope that all who are interested will come by our Open House on December 8th 1-3 pm to meet our students and tour our home at 134 Main St in Andover.
